A Message from the Incoming WCHA President ....John Westerling

I am honored by the recent vote of the WCHA Board of Directors to serve as your President for the upcoming year. It is its my goal to work with the Board to bring forward meetings that are educational, interesting and fun!

It is my personal goal to keep this Association moving in the posititve direction that our outgoing President Dave Capelle has worked so hard to create. This Association has reached new heights over the past four years through Dave's leadership and knowledge. He has brought this Association a vision and given it a direction that will serve us all well as we move forward. Dave deserves all of our thanks for the tireless effort and dedication that he has put into making this Association a sucess...

The Board of Directors also voted Alan Tetreault as the Vice President for the upcoming year to replace Kevin Currier. Kevin has served this Association with dedication and hard work and I am grateful to him for his hard work as well. Alan and I will work very closely to create a sucessful year.

But we cannot do it alone. The WCHA Board of Diectors has a wealth of knowledge on its Board and in its membership that we will tap into throughout the year. The sucess of any organization depends on the people that are its members and I am always impressed by how many of you turn out at the meetings to learn from our speakers, to contribute to the discussion, and to share your ideas and your knowledge.

We will work throughout the year to continue to make improvements to our website (www.worcestercountyhightway.com), our Membership Directory, and to increase our membership base. We always welcome fresh new ideas for our meetings and we welcome your input.

I would also like to thank the Municipal Membership for its continued and increasing attendance at our meetings. Your participation and support help to make those meetings very sucessful. We look forward to your continued support throughout the year.

Lastly, I would like to thank our Sustaining Membership. Their participation in our Association and at our meetings are vital to our sucess. Those sustaining members can be found in our Membership Directory and on our website and I ask that your consider them when thinking of your municipal needs.

In closing, I would like to thatnk the Board of Directors for their time and effort to help make this Association such a sucess. I look forward to an exciting year and to working with each and every one of our members.
