Worcester County Retirement Updates

A message from the President

I am more than honored by the vote and support of the Board of Directors at our last board meeting to serve as President of the Worcester County Highway Association. I am pleased to be working with and congratulate the elected Vice President, Irving Priest, and the Second Vice President, Mark Brigham.

I would like to thank the outgoing president for all the hard work he has dedicated to the organization for the past two years, and for the standard he has maintained. The many accomplishments of the WCHA are a testament to John’s enthusiasm and commitment to our members. In addition to John, I am also grateful to Lisa, the bookkeeping and accounting clerk, whose assistance is invaluable. Our organization would not be what it is without the support and direction of both John and Lisa.

I would also like to thank our many members, sustaining members, and vendors for their continued participation in WCHA. This support is necessary to the continuance and success of the organization. I appreciate the diversity and wealth of information and experience, which has been brought to the table, and which is evidenced in our varied presentations, demo days, and activities.

As the President of WCHA, I hope to get more people involved so that our programs are interesting, educational and fun. We will continue the monthly and annual meetings so that our direction is clear and progressive. Along with the newly elected board members, and with your help and ideas, I am confident that this will be a great year. I look forward to working with you and for you.
